DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are engineered with a robust thin metallic outer shell that elegantly encases a highly resilient filler material. This innovative design ensures unparalleled protection for the filler, offering superior resistance to pressure, excessive temperature fluctuations, and corrosive environments. Each gasket is meticulously handmade and available in a vast array of shapes and sizes, with a premium selection of metals and fillers to choose from. Configurable internal ribs provide additional versatility and adaptability. These gaskets are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, though they do require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal, ensuring reliability and performance.
Single jacketed gaskets are uniquely designed featuring one surface and are completely enveloped by a robust metal jacket, covering both the outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID). They are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing efficient and reliable sealing solutions.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications and are exceptionally adept at handling corrosive and high temperature environments, ensuring durability and longevity.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, enhancing the gasket's reliability and adaptability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, our general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and incredibly reliable for a variety of demanding applications.
Jackets are crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring strength and durability.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing exceptional sealing performance and longevity.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting standards and impeccable quality.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precision and accuracy;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead for optimal performance;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, ensuring compatibility and functionality;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, providing guidance for appropriate selection.
