DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Crafted with precision, our metal jacketed gaskets combine a durable thin metallic outer shell with a resilient filler core. This innovative structure provides superior protection for the filler, ensuring remarkable resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket, handcrafted to perfection, comes in an extensive range of shapes and sizes, utilizing premium metals and fillers. Internal ribs can be configured for added flexibility. These gaskets are vital for heat exchanger applications, though they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring one surface, are completely encased by a metal jacket covering the OD and ID. They are perfect for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Innovatively designed, double jacketed gaskets feature a two-piece metal jacket that fully covers the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily used in heat exchanger applications, they excel in corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets designed with simplicity are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. Intricately shaped gaskets perform exceptionally in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler options comprise expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely defined at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), meeting exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets with NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are rigorously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are unavailable, requiring Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
