DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our meticulously engineered metal jacketed gaskets offer a sophisticated blend of durability and versatility. Featuring a robust thin metallic outer shell that encapsulates a resilient filler, these gaskets provide unparalleled protection against pressure, temperature, and corrosive environments. Handcrafted with precision, they are offered in a variety of shapes and sizes, utilizing a premium assortment of metals and fillers. The customizable internal ribs enhance their adaptability, making these gaskets essential for heat exchanger applications. However, they require precise flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve a flawless seal, ensuring maximum efficiency.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring a single surface completely encased by a metal jacket, are specifically designed for narrow flange widths found in low-pressure valve and pump applications. They ensure reliable sealing, even under modest operational pressures, making them ideal for such configurations.
Double jacketed gaskets showcase an innovative design with a two-piece metal jacket that thoroughly encapsulates both the OD and ID along with the sealing surfaces. Perfectly suited for heat exchanger applications, they excel in resisting corrosive and high-temperature environments, thus ensuring stellar performance.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, are seamlessly integrated or expertly welded to secure the primary seal's integrity in both configurations, enhancing the gasket's overall reliability and effectiveness.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. Those with complex forms are exceptional for flange covers in heat exchangers and similar uses. Typically, these general gaskets measure 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, offering unparalleled versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from a premium selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, each chosen for its unique properties and suitability.
Filler options include top-tier materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient elements, providing the gasket with outstanding performance characteristics.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely calibrated at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), maintaining exceptional standards and ensuring consistent, reliable performance.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously regulated at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), guaranteeing precision.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 as a robust alternative;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, the absence of Class 600 flanges requires the utilization of Class 1500, ensuring compatibility and performance;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, necessitating alternative solutions to meet high-demand applications.
