DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are meticulously engineered to perfection with a strong, thin metallic outer shell encasing a resilient filler material. This state-of-the-art design guarantees unparalleled protection for the filler, providing exceptional resistance against pressure, extreme temperatures, and corrosion. Crafted with precision, each gasket is handmade and available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, featuring an exquisite selection of premium metals and fillers. The option for configurable internal ribs adds further versatility. These indispensable gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, requiring precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability.
Single jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with one surface fully enveloped by a robust metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. These gaskets are ideal for applications with narrow flange widths and low pressure valve and pump systems, offering reliability and efficiency.
Double jacketed gaskets boast an innovative design featuring a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Highly effective in heat exchanger applications, they excel in handling corrosive and high temperature environments, ensuring a strong, reliable seal where it matters most.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised and effective in both configurations, providing flexibility and strength.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with streamlined designs are perfectly suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Meanwhile, those with more intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, versatile gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring they are adaptable and reliable across various demanding environments.
Jackets are expertly crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and performance.
The filler options are comprehensive, including expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, designed to provide flexibility and strength under various conditions.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely calibrated at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precision and reliability;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead, ensuring compatibility and efficiency;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500, providing enhanced performance capabilities;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, highlighting the adaptability and flexibility of gasket applications across various specifications.
