DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are ingeniously engineered with a robust thin metallic outer shell that encases a resilient filler material. This innovative design provides unparalleled protection for the filler, offering remarkable resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in a diverse array of shapes and sizes, with a premium selection of metals and fillers. Featuring configurable internal ribs, these gaskets offer additional versatility. They are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, requiring precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a sleek design with one surface completely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID. These gaskets are ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing a perfect sealing solution.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously crafted with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces, making them particularly adept for heat exchanger applications. Their robust design handles corrosive and high temperature environments with ease.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, offering unmatched sealing integrity.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion engines. Those with intricate shapes excel in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them versatile and reliable for a wide range of demanding environments.
Jackets are crafted from a selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring superior durability and performance.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, offering maximum flexibility and adaptability to diverse application needs.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting standards are met for every application.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring perfect fitment.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead, ensuring continued compatibility and performance;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, maintaining superior performance standards;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, ensuring optimal use of available flanges for high-performance needs.
