DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our meticulously engineered metal jacketed gaskets feature a robust, thin metallic outer shell that protects a resilient filler material. This cutting-edge design delivers outstanding resistance against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is carefully handcrafted and comes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, constructed from premium metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add further flexibility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, offering reliable sealing performance when paired with precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads.
Single jacketed gaskets, featuring a single surface, are completely enclosed by a metal jacket covering both outer and inner diameters. They are optimally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets boast an ingenious design with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the outer and inner diameters, as well as both sealing surfaces. These are primarily used in heat exchanger applications and excel in handling corrosive and high-temperature conditions.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring uncompromised sealing integrity in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Intricately shaped gaskets excel in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and dependability.
Jackets are expertly crafted from high-quality materials such as soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring superior performance.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, offering a range of choices for optimal gasket performance.
Gasket thickness tolerance is precisely maintained at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm) to meet exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are stringently controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
