DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are a masterpiece of engineering, designed with a robust yet delicate metallic outer shell that protects a resilient filler material. This brilliant design bestows the gaskets with extraordinary resistance to pressure, temperature fluctuations, and corrosion. Every gasket is a testament to superior craftsmanship, available in a versatile range of shapes and sizes, crafted from the finest selection of metals and fillers. The option to incorporate configurable internal ribs enhances their adaptability. These gaskets are indispensable in heat exchanger applications, but require precise flange surfaces and high bolt loads to deliver an impeccable seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, ingeniously designed for narrow flange widths, feature one surface entirely encompassed by a metal jacket that covers both the outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID). They are a perfect choice for low pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets present a marvel of engineering with a two-piece metal jacket that thoroughly encases the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Ideally suited for heat exchanger applications, they demonstrate exceptional capability in confronting corrosive and high-temperature conditions.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boilers and fuses
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are the epitome of efficiency for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces in internal-combustion machines. Meanwhile, those with intricate shapes shine in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, highlighting their versatility and dependability.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from an exquisite selection of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and strength.
The fillers are a selection of high-performance options including expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and various other resilient materials, tailored to specific needs.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), adhering to the most exacting standards of precision.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, thus requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
