DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets boast a robust thin metallic outer shell that gracefully encases a resilient filler material. This cutting-edge design guarantees the ultimate protection for the filler, offering remarkable resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Painstakingly handmade, these gaskets come in an expansive array of shapes and sizes, featuring a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs provide additional versatility, making these gaskets indispensable for heat exchanger applications, though they necessitate precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to ensure an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets present one surface entirely enveloped by a metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. These gaskets are ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing reliable sealing performance.
Double jacketed gaskets are brilliantly engineered with a two-piece metal jacket that elegantly encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Primarily used in heat exchanger applications, these gaskets excel in handling corrosive and high-temperature environments with ease.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, are seamlessly integrated or expertly welded to ensure the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, providing consistent and reliable performance.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal combustion machines. Intricately shaped gaskets excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from an array of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, offering a diverse selection for various applications.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing flexibility and adaptability for diverse sealing needs.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting standards.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead, maintaining compatibility.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, ensuring suitability for high-pressure applications.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, adapting to industry standards.
