DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets boast a robust thin metallic outer shell encasing a resilient filler. This design offers top-tier protection, providing extraordinary resistance against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail, these gaskets are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, utilizing a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs offer unmatched versatility. Indispensable for heat exchanger applications, they necessitate precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a singular surface completely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both OD and ID. Ideal for narrow flange widths, they excel in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets, ingeniously designed, feature a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Predominantly used in heat exchanger applications, they are adept at handling corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fuses
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2-8 MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10 Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), upholding exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
