DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our superbly designed metal jacketed gaskets boast a robust thin metallic outer shell protecting a resilient filler. This cutting-edge design offers unparalleled resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion, providing the ultimate safeguard for the filler. Each gasket is crafted with precision, available in a wide assortment of shapes and sizes, featuring a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs enhance their versatility. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, requiring precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads for optimal sealing performance.
Single jacketed gaskets are skillfully crafted with one surface entirely encased by a metal jacket covering both the OD and ID, making them perfect for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets feature a smartly engineered two-piece metal jacket that completely encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Predominantly used in heat exchanger applications, they excel in managing corrosive and high-temperature environments efficiently.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in any configuration.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. Gaskets with complex shapes excel in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, standard gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring versatility and reliability.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a diverse array of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, along with other highly resilient materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is rigorously set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to the most exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are not available, necessitating the adoption of Class 600;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are unavailable, requiring the utilization of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
