DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our meticulously engineered metal jacketed gaskets are a testament to premium craftsmanship, featuring a sturdy thin metallic outer shell that diligently shields a durable filler material. This cutting-edge design maximizes protection for the filler, ensuring unparalleled resistance to pressure, extreme temperatures, and corrosive elements. Each gasket is expertly handmade, available in a broad spectrum of shapes and sizes, with an exceptional selection of metals and fillers. Customizable internal ribs enhance their versatility. These gaskets are essential for critical heat exchanger applications, requiring precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to deliver an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a single surface fully encased in a metal jacket that covers the OD and ID, making them perfect for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump scenarios.
Double jacketed gaskets showcase an innovative design with a two-piece metal jacket that completely encloses the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are primarily deployed in heat exchanger applications, expertly handling corrosive and high-temperature environments with aplomb.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or skillfully welded to ensure the primary seal remains uncompromised, maintaining superior performance across both configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideally suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in providing excellent sealing solutions for the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar demanding applications. Typically, general gaskets range between 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and are engineered to withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, ensuring their versatility and reliability.
Jackets are crafted from a diversified portfolio of high-quality materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and an extensive range of others.
The filler options comprise expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing robust solutions across an array of applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is rigorously set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), reflecting our commitment to maintaining exacting quality standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are precisely controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, hence the use of Class 1500 is required;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
