Uniquely, an inner ring is strategically incorporated to exponentially boost gasket performance. This vital element not only ensures precise centering on the flange face but also shields the sealing component from extreme temperatures and harsh mediums. Crafted typically from the same alloy as the winding, the inner ring adheres to the stringent DIN 2699 standards (German), which mandate inner rings in all spiral wound gaskets.
