DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets, designed for excellence, feature a robust thin metallic outer shell enveloping a resilient filler material. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted, available in a multitude of shapes and sizes, and offers a premium selection of metals and fillers. With the flexibility of configurable internal ribs, these gaskets provide unmatched versatility. While they are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to deliver an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a singular surface, completely encased by a metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. These gaskets are perfectly suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encases the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces, offering unmatched protection. Predominantly used in heat exchanger applications, they adeptly handle corrosive and high-temperature environments with ease.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded to ensure the primary seal remains uncompromised in any configuration.

Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines, while those with intricate shapes excel in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar uses. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, enduring maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them both versatile and reliable.
Jackets are expertly crafted from a selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and performance.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, tailored to meet demanding requirements.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely calibrated at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring exacting quality standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
