DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our impeccably crafted metal jacketed gaskets have been masterfully engineered to feature a durable thin metallic outer shell that gracefully encases a resilient filler material. This groundbreaking design guarantees unparalleled protection for the filler, providing exceptional resistance against pressure, extreme temperatures, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in an extensive range of shapes and sizes, with an exquisite selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs offer additional versatility. These gaskets are vital for heat exchanger applications, requiring precise flange surfaces and high bolt loads to attain an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a unique design with one surface completely enveloped by a metal jacket covering both the outer and inner diameters. They are ideally suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets are brilliantly engineered with a two-piece metal jacket that entirely encapsulates the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly utilized in heat exchanger applications, demonstrating remarkable adeptness in managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in any configuration.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are perfect for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with complex shapes excel in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, standard gaskets range between 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness. They are capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them incredibly versatile and dependable.
Jackets are crafted from an array of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials designed to provide optimal performance.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, requiring the selection of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
