DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our metal jacketed gaskets are masterfully crafted with a robust thin metallic outer shell encasing a resilient filler material, ensuring exceptional durability. The metal casing not only shields the filler but also resists pressure, heat, and corrosion. These handcrafted masterpieces come in diverse shapes and sizes, offering a wide selection of metals and fillers. You can even customize internal ribs to suit any configuration. Ideal for heat exchanger applications, these gaskets demand precise flange surfaces and substantial bolt loads to secure an effective seal.
Single jacketed gaskets feature a singular surface with the metal jacket covering both the outer and inner diameters. Perfectly suited for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, they offer reliable sealing performance.
Double jacketed gaskets, ingeniously designed, are entirely encased by a two-piece metal jacket covering all diameters and both sealing surfaces. These gaskets excel in heat exchanger applications and are optimal for corrosive and high-temperature conditions.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be either integral or welded. In both configurations, they ensure the primary seal is steadfastly maintained, providing an extra layer of reliability.

Simple-shaped gaskets are ideally applied in pipeline flange and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces, while complex-shaped gaskets are perfect for flange covers in heat exchangers. Typically, these general gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2-8 MM in thickness, capable of withstanding a maximum working pressure of 6-10 Mpa.
Jackets: Choose from an array of materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
Filler: Options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other premium materials.
The gasket thickness comes with a precise tolerance of (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) or (+0.8mm, -0.0mm) to ensure accuracy.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, the outer and inner diameter tolerances are maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). Note that there are no Class 400 flanges for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3. Instead, opt for Class 600.
(3). There are no available Class 600 flanges for NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2; it is advisable to use Class 1500.
(4). Be aware that Class 2500 is not available for NPS 14 and larger sizes.
