Typically constructed from the same alloy as the winding, the inner ring adheres to the esteemed DIN 2699 standard (German) for all spiral wound gaskets. Per ASME B16.20 standards, inner rings are indispensable for gaskets with PTFE filler and crucial for those with graphite fillers.
