DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Crafted with precision, our metal jacketed gaskets feature an ingenious design of a thin metallic outer casing that encapsulates a flexible filler material. This robust metal shell not only shields the filler but also offers exceptional resistance against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted and available in diverse shapes and sizes, with a variety of metals and fillers to meet your specific needs. Custom internal rib configurations can be crafted to suit any requirement. Perfectly engineered for heat exchanger applications, these gaskets demand uniform flange surfaces and substantial bolt loads to ensure an impeccable seal.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a sleek design where one surface alongside both OD and ID are elegantly cloaked in a metal jacket. They are ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve or pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets offer comprehensive protection with a two-piece metal jacket that envelops the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They excel in heat exchanger applications and are the perfect choice for corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be crafted integrally or through welding. Regardless of the method, the primary seal integrity remains uncompromised, ensuring safety and reliability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fuels
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Our gaskets, whether with simple shapes for pipeline flange and internal-combustion machine seals, or complex shapes for heat exchanger flange covers, are crafted with precision. Typically ranging from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, these gaskets are designed to withstand working pressures up to 6-10Mpa.
Our jackets are available in a wide selection of materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, brass, titanium, and monel, ensuring compatibility with various industrial applications.
Filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, and PTFE, selected for their resilience and performance under demanding conditions.
The gasket thickness is precisely controlled with a tolerance of (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) or (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring consistency and reliability.
For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, the tolerances for outside and inside diameters are maintained at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm).
Note that there are no Class 400 flanges available for NPS 1/2 through NPS 3. Instead, Class 600 should be used for these specifications.
Similarly, for NPS 1/2 through NPS 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are not available. Class 1500 is the recommended alternative.
For NPS 14 and larger, Class 2500 flanges are unavailable, highlighting the importance of selecting the appropriate specifications for your needs.
