Typically crafted from an alloy identical to the winding, the inner ring adheres to DIN 2699 standards (German) and is mandated for gaskets with PTFE filler as per ASME B16.20 standards, while also being crucial for graphite fillers. Ideal for raised and flat-faced flanges, this gasket profile features an external ring that adds extra radial strength to avert blowouts and acts as a compression stop.
