DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our impeccably designed metal jacketed gaskets are an embodiment of engineering excellence. With a sturdy yet sleek thin metallic outer shell enveloping a robust filler material, they promise unparalleled protection. This ingenious design guarantees supreme resistance to extreme pressure, temperature fluctuations, and corrosive environments. Each gasket is a testament to precision craftsmanship, available in an expansive variety of shapes and sizes, utilizing only the finest metals and fillers. The inclusion of configurable internal ribs delivers unmatched versatility. Essential for heat exchanger applications, they necessitate precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an impeccable seal.
Single jacketed gaskets, with their streamlined design, boast one surface entirely cloaked in a metal jacket, enveloping both the OD and ID. These gaskets are the quintessential choice for narrow flange widths prevalent in low-pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets exhibit a masterful two-piece metal jacket design that entirely encloses the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly deployed in heat exchanger applications, adeptly managing both corrosive and high-temperature conditions with ease.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or masterfully welded, ensuring the primary seal’s integrity remains intact across all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and the sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machinery. Those with complex shapes are perfectly suited for the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Generally, these versatile gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures from 6-10Mpa, showcasing their reliability.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a selection of superior materials including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler options comprise resilient materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other robust substances.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely calibrated at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously regulated at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are non-existent, requiring Class 1500 as the alternative;
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
