DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are ingeniously engineered with a robust yet delicate metallic outer shell that expertly encases a resilient filler material. This groundbreaking design guarantees unparalleled protection for the filler, offering unrivaled resistance to pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in a diverse array of shapes and sizes, complemented by a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs add extra versatility. These indispensable gaskets are primarily designed for heat exchanger applications, though they necessitate precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal.
Single jacketed gaskets elegantly feature one surface and are entirely enveloped by a metal jacket that covers both the outer and inner diameters. They are ideal for narrow flange widths in low-pressure valve and pump applications, providing a reliable and secure seal.
Double jacketed gaskets are ingeniously constructed with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the outer diameter, inner diameter, and both sealing surfaces. They are predominantly utilized in demanding heat exchanger applications and are exceptionally adept at handling corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring that the primary seal remains uncompromised in both configurations, offering enhanced reliability and performance.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with straightforward designs are perfectly suited for pipeline flanges and sealing surfaces of internal-combustion machines. Those with intricate shapes excel in the flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, general gaskets span 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, and can withstand maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, making them indispensable for versatile and reliable sealing solutions.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a broad selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more, ensuring durability and adaptability.
The filler options include premium materials such as expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, providing flexibility and performance for various applications.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards and guaranteeing reliability.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precision and consistency;
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, requiring the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
