DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our exquisitely crafted metal jacketed gaskets are a testament to engineering excellence, featuring a robust thin metallic outer shell meticulously designed to encase a resilient filler material. This innovative construction guarantees unparalleled protection for the filler, delivering outstanding resistance to pressure, temperature variations, and corrosive conditions. Each gasket is meticulously handmade, available in a diverse array of shapes and sizes, with a premium selection of metals and fillers to cater to specific needs. Configurable internal ribs add remarkable versatility, enhancing the adaptability of these gaskets. They are indispensable for heat exchanger applications, and while they require precision flange surfaces and high bolt loads to achieve an optimal seal, their performance is unmatched.
Single jacketed gaskets are ingeniously designed with one surface, completely enveloped by a metal jacket that covers both the OD and ID. They are the ideal solution for narrow flange widths in low pressure valve and pump applications, ensuring effective sealing and longevity.
Double jacketed gaskets boast an ingenious construction with a two-piece metal jacket that fully encapsulates the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. Predominantly used in heat exchanger applications, they are expertly designed to handle corrosive and high-temperature environments, providing reliable performance.
Internal ribs, also known as pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains uncompromised in all configurations, thus enhancing the gasket's reliability.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers: The perfect choice for ensuring efficient thermal management.
> Gas mains: Providing robust sealing solutions for gas distribution networks.
> Boiler and fues: Delivering reliable performance in high-temperature environments.
> Pumps: Ensuring leak-proof operation under varied conditions.
> Valve bonnets: Optimizing sealing efficiency in critical control components.
Gaskets with straightforward designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. Intricately shaped gaskets excel in flange covers for heat exchangers and similar demanding applications. Typically, general gaskets span widths of 10-25 MM and thicknesses of 2MM-8MM, capable of withstanding maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa. This versatility makes them an indispensable choice for many industries, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Jackets are meticulously crafted from a selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more. This variety ensures that each gasket can be tailored to specific application requirements, providing optimal performance.
The filler options include expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other resilient materials, offering unmatched resilience and adaptability to diverse operational environments.
The gasket thickness tolerance is precisely set at (+0.03 inch, -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards and guaranteeing a perfect fit every time.
(1). For gaskets ranging from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are meticulously controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm), ensuring precision engineering.
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 3, Class 400 flanges are unavailable, necessitating the use of Class 600, offering enhanced pressure handling capabilities.
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 through 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges do not exist, necessitating the use of Class 1500, providing superior performance under high-pressure conditions.
(4). Class 2500 is unavailable for NPS sizes 14 and larger, offering alternative solutions to meet high-capacity demands.
