DOUBLE JACKETED GASKET
Our masterfully engineered metal jacketed gaskets are crafted with a resilient metallic outer shell that protects a durable filler material. This advanced design guarantees exceptional durability against pressure, temperature, and corrosion. Each gasket is meticulously handcrafted, available in a broad spectrum of shapes and sizes, featuring a premium selection of metals and fillers. Configurable internal ribs provide added adaptability. These gaskets are essential for heat exchanger applications, requiring precise flange surfaces and substantial bolt loads for optimal sealing.
Single jacketed gaskets boast a single surface fully wrapped by a metal jacket, covering both the OD and ID. These are ideal for narrow flange widths, specifically in low pressure valve and pump applications.
Double jacketed gaskets possess a two-piece metal jacket that comprehensively covers the OD, ID, and both sealing surfaces. They are primarily used in heat exchanger applications, adept at managing corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Internal ribs, or pass partition bars, can be seamlessly integrated or expertly welded, ensuring the primary seal remains secure in all configurations.
APPLICATION
> Heat exchangers
> Gas mains
> Boiler and fues
> Pumps.
> Valve bonnets
Gaskets with simple designs are ideal for pipeline flanges and internal-combustion machine sealing surfaces. More complex shapes excel in flange covers of heat exchangers and similar applications. Typically, standard gaskets range from 10-25 MM in width and 2MM-8MM in thickness, enduring maximum working pressures of 6-10Mpa, marking them versatile and reliable.
Jackets are crafted from a distinguished selection of high-quality materials, including soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, brass, titanium, monel, and more.
The filler choices encompass expanded graphite, ceramic, PTFE, and other durable materials.
The gasket thickness tolerance is meticulously calibrated at (+0.03 inch., -0.000 inch) (+0.8mm, -0.0mm), ensuring adherence to exacting standards.
(1). For gaskets spanning from NPS 1/2 to NPS 24, the outside and inside diameter tolerances are precisely controlled at +0.06 inch, -0.0 inch (+1.5mm, -0.0mm);
(2). For NPS sizes 1/2 to 3, Class 400 flanges aren't available, prompting the use of Class 600 instead;
(3). For NPS sizes 1/2 to 2-1/2, Class 600 flanges are non-existent, necessitating the use of Class 1500;
(4). Class 2500 is not available for NPS sizes 14 and larger.
